Around the beginning of 2023, a video producer I frequently work with at NewsHour approached me about creating animations to cover sections of an interview on the idea of luck. I was given significant creative control in terms of what iconography to use and how to visually portray each line, which made for a fun, subtle narrative on top of an already playful interview.
